We’re Nic and Kayla Johnson.Husband and wife. Photographers and videographers. Pittie parents (x2). Professional Office gif senders. Wannabe Top Chef judges. Wine lovers (cabs only, please). And Jesus followers.
We met in the little college town of Stillwater, Oklahoma (go Pokes!) back in 2016 and have been inseparable ever since. We moved our family to the Gulf coast the following year and the rest is history!
We’ve both always had a passion for photography and have spent the last decade honing our craft — from food photography and senior sessions to rock stars and sun-kissed beaches, we love it all.
We live for natural light and have a journalistic/lifestyle approach to storytelling. We believe in capturing moments in the most authentic way possible.

I met a girl in Oklahoma who had no business being there or crossing my path, but God is funny in that He always puts us right where we need to be if we’re smart enough to get out of the way. Thankfully, I bamboozled her into becoming my wife (it was definitely my unused Planet Fitness membership and active gift card collection).
Fun fact: I worked for WWE… yes, that WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment.) There was lots of spandex and sweat involved… I take this stuff serious!
I'm a northern girl living in the south and soaking up all the beach vibes! Nic and I met in Oklahoma, fell in love, and moved our little family to Alabama... I'm still trying to figure out this humidity thing.
I love long, romantic walks down the aisles of Hobby Lobby and am easily swept away by a powerful worship tune (looking at you, Kristene DiMarco). I have a huge passion for nutrition and wellness, so when I'm not behind the camera, you can find me in the kitchen whipping up a fabulous paleo recipe or snuggled up with my puppers on the couch!
Fun fact: I am an Associated Press (AP) award-winning graphic designer!
